Reliable communication and navigation systems are essential for safe vessel operation. International maritime regulations specify the type, number and capacity of equipment required onboard according to the vessel’s tonnage, trading area and operational requirements.

Radio surveys are carried out in accordance with SOLAS requirements and the applicable survey guidelines under the Harmonized System of Survey and Certification. During the survey, ISM Marine also provides fault finding, repair, replacement and new equipment supply support from a single source. Our radio survey scope includes the inspection and testing of required communication equipment, verification of certificates and records, and reporting of any deficiencies identified onboard.
