CRANE AND CARGO GEAR INSPECTION
Cranes and cargo handling equipment must be inspected periodically to ensure safe operation during loading and lifting. ISM Marine carries out annual inspections, operational checks, overload tests, maintenance and repair services for shipboard cranes and associated cargo gear. Hooks, blocks, wires, sheaves, brakes, limit switches, lifting accessories and structural connections are examined in accordance with applicable regulations, class requirements and industry standards. Any defects or deficiencies are clearly reported, together with repair or replacement recommendations. Following satisfactory testing and inspection, the equipment is documented and certified by ISM Marine.
